Reuben Oliver is an Australian born author who has called many cities home, including Vancouver, London, San Francisco and New York City. He has spent his life moving through the world and paying close attention to it. Before turning to fiction, he worked two decades as a film and television Editor and Producer working on Lifestyle, Reality tv and Documentaries—experience that helped sharpen his instinct for tension, pacing, and the moments that make audiences lean forward.
A lifelong reader with a passion for history and the kind of fiction that nightmares are made of he is influenced by such authors like Stephen King, Dan Brown and James Herbert. Reuben has spent decades quietly building the imagination that his debut novel demands. He now lives in New York City with his wife, two children, and a fixer-upper that keeps him busy.
The Dead Raven is Reuben’s debut novel.
