E. M. Riedl—or Emri for short—is a Canadian geek who always wondered why authors needed biographies. When not plagued by the existential crisis of having to write about herself in the third person, she spends her leisure time playing role-playing games (of the video and tabletop variety) and reading about obscure history facts far too late into the night.
Ever since she started writing fantasy books at the inadvisable age of ten, Emri has been pursued by plot bunnies. She had successfully run away from them before completing anything—until now.
Her time of blissful, daydreaming procrastination ended with A Weave of Lies, her debut standalone novel. Emri is now planning many more fantasy romance books set in the Woven Worlds universe.
