Daniel Penton spent twenty-five years as an art director before he got around to writing a book.
All That's Left Behind is his debut, the first of The Inheritance Saga, a Western set in 1883 in the fictional Anjeer State. It began with a question about what men hand down without meaning to, and ended up somewhere colder than he planned.
He wrote it, designed it, drew the maps, and will publish it under his own imprint, Blackridge Editions. He lives in Alberta with his family.
