P.A. (“Pete”) Schoemann is a co-author of A Better Tomorrow and the other novels in the Love. Outside the Box series. A longtime reader and admirer of romantic comedies (and a co-author of the Project RM (Renaissance Man) series), Pete writes stories that blend various forms of relationships, a bit of humor, and authentic representation.
Pete and his wife, co-author Christine Eckstein, have four adult children. Their two sons, David and Kenny, are autistic. David is also a co-author of the Love. Outside the Box books. Together, the three authors write the books in the Love. Outside the Box series based in part on personal experience and on their desire to see more romantic stories where autistic characters (and the people who love them) are authentically cast as the leads. Each story is developed in collaboration with autistic co-writers or consultants to ensure realistic representation.
