I was raised in a small town north of Houston, surrounded by woods that felt like the edge of a forgotten magical realm. I was certain magic lingered between the trees, and ever since moving to the city, I’ve been searching for it in the spaces between skyscrapers.
My love for storytelling began early, sparked when my dad read The Hobbit to me at the age of six. Ever since, I’ve been weaving my own tales—stories where the extraordinary is always just beneath the surface of our own world.
Now, I live in the Fort Worth, Texas area with my wife, Maria, and our four mischievous, possibly magical, cats—Lucy, Harker, Shadow, and Finn. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me daydreaming about hidden worlds, collecting too many books, or trying to convince my cats that they don’t, in fact, have control of our lives. (They do.)
