Charles Duffie grew up in Hollywood, California, raised on movies, comic books, and paperback reprints of pulp classics like Doc Savage.
He is the author of Mole and Owl, which has been optioned for an animated film. He is the writer and creator of the Kid, Inc. comic strip series, illustrated by Erich Owen.
Charles also writes Bob's Blog, a Kid, Inc. spinoff following an overwhelmed dad trying to keep up in a culture changing so fast, the world he knew feels like it's vanishing.
His work has appeared in several literary magazines, including the Los Angeles Review of Books and the Kurt Vonnegut journal, So It Goes. He has been nominated for two Pushcart Prizes.
Charles has two daughters and lives with his wife in Southern California.
