Anna Lamnari is a practicing physician with a lifelong fascination for world mythologies and the timeless human stories they carry. Balancing the demanding world of medicine with a passion for creative writing, she explores themes of healing, memory, and self-forgiveness by stripping away the armor of legendary figures to reveal their universal emotional truths.
Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Lamnari spends much of her free time immersed in the culture and landscapes of Northern Morocco. The vibrant, storied streets near Tangier directly inspired the contemporary half of her debut novel, The Last Labor, bridging the ancient Mediterranean world with modern-day reflection.
