Rosalie Layne lives with her two daughters and two cats in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has a Bachelor’s in French (that she doesn’t need) and juggles several hobbies, including crocheting and baking.
During high school, Rosalie attempted NaNoWriMo three times but couldn’t get past the 10,000-word mark. While she worked on getting her unused French degree, she took a creative writing course, where she realized she already had the skills and talent to maybe write an entire book someday. Ten years later, when her youngest daughter was almost a year old, a book idea slammed into her head, and she never looked back.
Rosalie’s debut romance novel, Bringing Her Wildflowers, has been forged over two years of late-nights, squeezing in writing sessions between her day job and dinner prep, and scribbling down book ideas while pumping gas into her minivan. She wouldn’t change the journey for anything and hopes it encourages her daughters to achieve their own dreams, no matter how unobtainable they may seem.
