CG Volars is a traveling literature adjunct currently residing in South Korea. They are perpetually broke, bisexual, and irreparably devoted to Gothic architecture, literature, and the sort of stories where beautiful people make difficult calls.
Their favorite books as a teenager were The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, an unfortunate combination. One taught them that beauty is dangerous; the other that existence is absurd. Between the two, they developed a lifelong fascination with Gothic beauty, existential nonsense, and a peculiar eye for good intentions and magnificent disasters.
They write gothic romantasy filled with forbidden love, dangerous magic, morally compromised characters, and catastrophically bad decisions made for all the most beautiful reasons.
