K A Burgess lives in a small town in the New England region of New South Wales, Australia, with her cat, dog and an extended family of friends. She works in the local library and is passionate about the environment, books, science, music, world events, travel and social justice.
She has lived and worked in Japan and Hong Kong, teaching English as a Second Language. A Strange Taste of Metal is her first novel.
