I have had a long career as a clinical psychologist and now use my knowledge of family, relationships, and sexuality in writing fiction. I spent most of my career at the Cleveland Clinic and the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. I published three self-help books, a textbook, and created an award-winning digital health company to educate people with cancer about sex and fertility. It unfortunately did not survive the pandemic. My debut novel, Fission: A Novel of Atomic Heartbreak, draws on my parents’ stories of Oak Ridge during the Manhattan Project. I live in Houston, Texas with my faithful dog, Luc, who wishes I spent less time at my computer and more playing with squeaky toys.
