Cait Monroe is the author of Shield Sworn, a historical fantasy adventure. She loves remote islands, well-used swords, yearning of any variety, and is a sucker for a good gear-up. She likes her fantasy grounded, her romance complicated, and her whiskey neat. She lives in North Carolina with her Irish Wolfhound and a few select humans.
