Arsheeya Mashaw is a physician and author who began his career in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and now practices in Portland, Oregon. He has published short medical memoirs in scientific journals and in the literary magazine Hippocampus. His fiction draws on his medical background and his love of suspense, rural settings, and human connection.
Ari Mashaw, his son and co-author, is an artist and writer. Their partnership began unexpectedly during a car ride when a conversation about storytelling turned into a shared creative project. That moment grew into The Doctor’s Reckoning and a creative journey they continue together.
When they are not writing, Arsheeya and Ari enjoy spending time with their family, skiing, mountain biking, surfing, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
