Neva Cross writes stories about the spaces between the living and the dead: the longing, the dread, and the music that bleeds through the cracks. She has a weakness for Victorian portraits, candlelit stages, and protagonists who hear things they shouldn't, see things that aren't there, and fall in love at precisely the worst possible moment.
When not writing, she can be found wandering fog-soaked moors in search of ghosts, or inspiration… whichever arrives first.
Songs the Dead Play is her debut duology. She is already listening for what comes next.
