Richard Tagliarino has spent more than thirty years in retail management, as both a store manager and district manager, and is turning the world he knows best into fiction.
He has spent those years in the aisles and break rooms most novels walk past, watching how people handle pressure, what they carry home with them, and what happens in the half-second between what happens to a person and what that person does next.
His debut novel, See What You Notice, grew out of that world. His second novel, a companion story set in Buffalo in 1991, is complete.
A Williamsville, New York native, he lives with his wife and keeps a notebook of his own.
