My time in social work has shaped the way I view people, and it has a profound influence on my stories. I heard so many stories—raw, honest, unforgettable. Each person was different. Every story was part of the same human spectrum. Romance lets me take that emotional truth—the hurt and the healing, the love and the longing—and weave it into something beautiful. Something steamy and fun and messy and full of heart. Something that, hopefully, makes you feel seen and awakens your imagination. That push and pull. The slow burn. The explosive impulse.
