Marc Simon is the creator of The Fire Demon: Death Awaits You, a Dungeons & Dragons-style gamebook first published in 2014. What began as a childhood scrapbook project evolved into a lifelong passion for storytelling and world-building.
In 2025, Marc returned to his creative roots, reimagining his original gamebooks as the Last Defender novel series. Drawing inspiration from the epic imagination of J.R.R. Tolkien and the interactive storytelling of Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, he weaves stories of courage, destiny, and the fight to rise against darkness.
