Andrew Collymore writes about grief, spiritual awakening, identity, and the deeper questions that can surface when life no longer unfolds the way we expected. A former university football player, Andrew once built much of his identity around becoming an athlete. The loss of his father and the end of that dream forced him to question who he was and what his life was meant to become.
That questioning led him deeper into meditation, Reiki, synchronicity, altered states of consciousness, and experiences that challenged the reality he had always known.Over time, he began to see meaning in moments he once might have dismissed, uncovering what felt like truths hidden in plain sight.
Andrew studied Sociology and Creative Writing at Bishop’s University in Québec and later became a Reiki Master. He now lives in Oshawa, Ontario, where he continues to write poetry, meditate, spend time in nature, play football, cook, and explore the connection between everyday life and the unseen.
Golden Threads: From Grief to Spiritual Awakening is his first book.
