Senan Mahon is a retired software developer, based in Ireland. He has been immersed in coding since the early 90's, when Windows 3.1 was the state of the art. He published his first novella Consequential, in late 2020. It's about an Irish scientist who's marooned at the International Space Station, because things have gone a bit haywire down on Earth. She decides to take on a little lockdown project of her own, which involves saving the planet!
Fast-forward two years to December 2022, and Senan types the final full-stop on his second book, The Blue Race. This one is a full-length space opera about the struggle, between humanity and the belligerent Engus empire, to control the galaxy. It's book one of The Gelvan Saga, and is a fast-paced adventure that'll have you on the edge of your seat.
September 2026 saw the publication of the second book in the Gelvan Saga, called The Arithmetic of Echoes. It picks up the story twenty years after the events of The Blue Race, when a new menace threatens the galaxy.
