Bennie Walker is a Writer's Digest Award-winning author who blends sci-fi and fantasy elements in his fiction to showcase the unique perspectives of Black and other marginalized characters. Bennie wrote his debut novel, To Shatter a Mountain as a wedding gift to his wife, a novel that retells their unique love story, while also tackling the intricacies of interracial relationships within a society marked by inequality. When Bennie isn’t busy imagining new worlds or co-facilitating the Black Writers Coffeehouse Group, he can be found telling other stories as a video content creator.
