I want to be open with you, the reader, about this: the writing is sensual rather than explicit, and there are some scenes of action and violence. But at heart this is drama, romance, and intrigue: conspiracies around Pharaoh's throne, the charged bond between Potiphar and his wife Zuleika, and the rivalry among twelve brothers over their father's favourite son.
