Michael Bosworth-Knight was born in Brisbane, grew up in the western suburbs, and works in government bureaucracy by day. He’s also dad to a young son, Charlie. His debut novel, The Department of Lost Things, is the first book in The Assembly of Inconvenient Phenomena, a YA fantasy series set in a Brisbane you almost recognise, where the ibis have unions and lost things get filed properly.
