M. M Llamas is a Chicano, LGBT+, disabled writer trained in fine arts and animation at San Francisco State University. After becoming ill and losing his capacity to draw, he turned to writing to tell his stories. He's been published for poetry three times and has won awards for his nonfiction writing from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges. His dream is to build a career creating meaningful stories with accurate representations that broaden perspectives and uplift communities.
