Jessica Housand, PhD, MPH, MFA, writes literary crime, dark psychological fiction, and politically charged family sagas. Her poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction have appeared in more than twenty literary journals and anthologies, including War, Literature & the Arts, Split Lip Magazine, New Madrid, and Word Riot. Her screenwriting projects have been taken to the American Film Market and the Marché du Film in Cannes. Blood Gilt is her debut novel.
