Phillip Daley is a Jamaican-born writer whose work preserves the history, culture, and community life of his native village Slipe in St. Elizabeth. Drawing on decades of personal experience, research, and reflection, he documents the traditions, challenges, and resilience that shaped his early life and continue to influence his perspective. Educated in Jamaica, Europe, and the United States, he’s a former scientist and a life-long learner, who loves to travel. He is retired and currently resides near Orlando, Florida.
