Tucked away in a shadowy wood while creatures of the night and bad guys with blades whisper in her ear, K.W. writes spicy dark fantasy full of monsters, magic, and mayhem. Her background in ecology instilled a fascination with predator-prey relationships, and she thinks fires burn hottest if started between enemies.
When she isn’t tormenting her morally gray characters, K.W. enjoys roller skating, skimboarding, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
