Dylan Byall's love for writing began in childhood when he wrote an encyclopedia on Amazonian animals. Raised in the small town of Mount Vernon, Ohio, he always dreamed of traveling. During his service in the U.S. Navy, he lived in Japan from 2018 to 2023, spending time in both Yokosuka and Sasebo. He now resides in Norfolk, Virginia, with his wife and their two dogs, Theo and Rex. When he's not writing, Dylan enjoys reading, watching movies, and sipping cocktails by the beach. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in English Literature at American Military University. Soul In A Shell is his debut publication.
