Becoming an author was never part of Ali Barclay's plan, despite all the signs pointing her way. She's the kind of bookworm who promises herself "just one more chapter" until she realizes it's 1 a.m., and her toddler will be waking her up at first sunlight. When Ali became a first-time mom, she discovered the simple magic of storytime with her daughter, watching as her little one’s eyes lit up at each page of their nightly read. Meanwhile, her sister, Sofie Wells, had been quietly nudging Ali to team up and create a children's book about a globetrotting dog named Charlie Wags. Inspired by those sweet storytime moments, Ali finally decided to take the plunge and co-write the book they’d been dreaming up for years.
Ali lives in the Northeast USA with her husband, their children, and their adorable (though sometimes poorly behaved) pups.
