Growing up as the child of an Army father meant constant moves, including three formative years in West Berlin. Those experiences shaped her perspective on instability, resilience, and how people respond under pressure—ideas that now sit at the core of her storytelling.
She grew up consuming anything with a strong hook, from science fiction novels to her father's comic book collection (whether she was supposed to read them or not). Her influences range from classic films like The Thing and The War of the Worlds to artists such as Ultravox, Joy Division, Static-X, Rammstein, Danheim, and Heilung—creative voices that still influence the atmosphere of her work today.
A lifelong gamer and storyteller, Cristine began writing early, drawn to the freedom of building worlds and pushing characters to their limits. What began as a creative outlet eventually became something more: a way to explore the darker edges of human nature through speculative fiction.
