D L Whipple grew up on a dairy farm in a small rural community in Iowa. He began writing in childhood but later shifted his focus to business, earning a graduate degree in Marketing and Finance.
“My passion has always been writing, but the reality of paying rent and putting food on the table made me choose a different path,” he said in a recent interview.
Whipple climbed the corporate ladder, eventually serving as CEO and president of two Fortune 500 Telecommunications companies before retiring to pursue his passion for writing. Now, he and his wife divide their time between winters in Florida and summers in the mountains of North Carolina. "None Dare Call It Murder” is his second novel.
