With a background in music, acting, track and field, and dance, and as the eldest daughter of two OB-GYNs, Llianne grew up surrounded by both art and medicine, which inevitably found their way into her books through the doctors, nurses, performers, and beautifully complicated people who populate her worlds. Add being Latina and growing up on Mexican telenovelas, and perhaps the drama was inevitable. Beyond writing, Llianne works in indie publishing and supports fellow authors pursuing their publishing dreams.
