Dr. Stacey is a retired veterinarian and author of cozy mysteries.
Her cozy mysteries are narrated by a canine companion for a lighter look at crime-solving. Daisy, the Doodle, is perceptive, insightful, and eager to lend a sniff to the subject. Her crime-solving skills bring justice to the residents of the scenic small town. The perpetrators face accountability for their crimes through the results of her canine cognitions.
Stacey lives in Florida, where she enjoys spending time with friends, family, Penny, and her cat, Andy—rescued during a summer storm at her previous home in Dunnellon. When she's not loafing with her pets, she writes books, reads cookbooks, practices yard work, or rides her horse on the greenway. Her hobby is reimagining recipes that are easy, bold, and delicious with healthy fats and little sugar.
Stacey writes books as Stacey Bonner Gerhart and under her maiden name, Stacey Bonner, DVM.
