Sylvia Gardner has been writing stories and poems since she could hold a crayon and never quite outgrew her love for imagination, wonder, and the magic of childhood curiosity. Before writing books for kids, she spent over a decade helping others stay calm in chaos through her work in strategic communication and emergency response. These days, she channels that same sense of calm and care into stories that help children feel brave, seen, and understood. Sylvia holds a master’s degree in psychology and is certified in meditation, trauma-informed yoga, and hypnotherapy, all of which gently inspire the heart behind her storytelling. She lives with her slightly mischievous cat and can often be found dreaming up new adventures or reading aloud in funny voices.
