I grew up in the Pacific Northwest before the word transgender was commonly known. It wasn't until I was 18 years old, having struggled with my identity for almost 2 decades did I finally have a word to name what I was going through.
I write stories about transgender characters that are relatable to those who have gone through similar journeys, helps those who are struggling, and enables empathy for all.
