I write dark comedy: stories about ordinary people losing arguments with systems much larger than they are.
My first novel, Cat in Hell's Chance, is about a man who receives a letter informing him his cat is dead, and ends the day being told that he's the one who died. It has a ferry, a wellness resort where Hades used to be, and a great deal of paperwork.
I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and write around my job as a software developer.
