J.S. Ainslie has spent more than thirty years teaching students at the middle and high-school levels. Much of his career has focused on learning support and literacy coaching, working one-on-one and in small groups with struggling readers to strengthen their skills, build confidence, and discover the pleasure of reading. That experience has shown him how the right story can reach a reader who might otherwise give up.
He previously published nonfiction on fitness and weight loss in 2010. The Keyhole Conspiracy is his first novel, a project he developed, revisited, and refined over fourteen years. His fiction blends science, suspense, dark humor, and character-driven storytelling, with a particular interest in the consequences of ambitious ideas, imperfect people, and powerful discoveries placed in the wrong hands.
