Christina Ståhle (born 1965, London) is a Swedish political scientist and author of fiction. Her first novel, Before He Was Red, is a historical fiction inspired by true events in the crumbling Ottoman Empire of 1876. Weaving political intrigue, power struggles, and an intimate love story, the book explores the fragility of love and the struggle to shape one’s own destiny.
